Christianity- You are born flawed, sinful and in need of assistance (i.e. being saved). You, alone, cannot save yourself and thus require something outside of you (God, Jesus, Holy Spirit), to save you. If you add God to your life, you can then be whole, without sins and live forever. You may live eternally in His glory. Today is not the best days of your life; your best days are ahead of you.

Buddhism- Your essence is pure. Deep down, you are born flawless, but unfortunately, your temper, impatience, greed, and ultimately your unhealthy ego present obstacles to unlocking this beautiful potential. How to reach it? You must remove things: remove the ego, the temper, the impatience, the gluttony and you will reach the pure core of yourself. There is no promise of being saved and the best moment of your life will always be now, because that's what's certain; that's what's real.

Be well. Thanks for reading.

Add God to your life isnt quite the same as repent and believe in the good news of Jesus Christ.
People adding God to their lives without repenting or holding to the exclusivity of Christ in salvation defines a good chunk of the western church these days, so I understand the confusion, but since this is one of the reasons that Christianity can look like an absolute gong show to nonbelievers (non-Christians calling themselves Christians), its worth pointing out the difference.
