Allen decides to do this every three years for some reason, always the same basic thing with no deviation. Microsoft stops releasing new Halo games after Infinite but occasionally will put Master Chief in something in a cameo capacity, make merchandise based on him/include him in ads for the Xbox brand, or re-release the old games on new systems. Microsoft keeps coasting at the same level it is in the video game industry, never going under and always making new Xbox consoles every cycle. They just stop with Halo games for some reason.
