That was the last show I ever really tried to watch live. I didn't get into it until after the first season dvd came out, my friend had that and I binged it and immediately watched season 2. I guess I started watching live season 3, which is interesting, because that's when things start to go downhill but it also has some series highpoints imo
Anyway the recent table read was awesome, definitely made me more hopeful about a movie lol though I guess I'm fooling myself --- But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. ... I don't think 3 is as consistent the first two, I think it had high highs but also some low lows

To clarify, I think every episode in 3 is solid, but the Chang parts in particular definitely wear thin imo, especially on rewatch. It's also when you can tell the show's budget cuts/concept episodes start to cut into the quality of the production. And it's like, I like inspector spacetime, but is it worth every thing else being shot inside?

3 got a little too wacky for its own good, but still had some of the best episodes. 4 had a different show runner and clearly suffered from worse writing. 5 and 6 are pretty good but not quite as good as 1-3.

The first 3 seasons are super nostalgic for me since they aired while I was in college. Lots of good memories
