Daredevil was great, so was Jessica Jones and the first seasons of Luke Cage and Punisher.

The Defenders was okay, Iron Fist wasn't good.

Daredevil Season 3 was spectacular. Vincent D'onfrio really took Kingpin to the next level that season.

Loved the Punisher seasons and a couple of the Daredevil seasons. That Marvel-Netflix partnership came and went far too soon.

Daredevil and Punisher were definitely the stand out two. I found Jessica Jones and Iron Fist to be the weakest overall but I thought that even they improved a lot in their second seasons.

They were all pretty popular. Especially Daredevil. The hype kind of petered out after the Defenders was a dud, and of course Disney+ and Marvel TV being folded into Marvel Studios killed them and all the other live action Marvel shows.

I liked defenders. Remember they were all on screen together a few times?

I absolutely loved Daredevil. Jessica Jones ended up being Amazing. Luke Cage started really strong.

Then.

My boi Iron Fist.

Look how they massacred my boy.

Now dont listen to anyone that tells you its Finn Jones fault because all you need to do is watch his small cameo in Luke Cage to see what better writers and show runners could have done with him. .

Still makes me mad. And the second season especially. How about we take this character, teaming with potential and intrigue and neuter the fuck out of him.

Just light up that goddamn hand and punch jabronis into the east river. How fuckin hard is that!?!?

Tried to make it through the punisher but I can't stand the soap opera bullshit and terrible writing.

Daredevil was good. I found it funny how Iron Fist was supposed to be this master martial artist but that show had the worst fight scenes and he barely used his power.

even though the shows might have had their faults, I found the street level antagonists to be more compelling than any we've seen in the MCU movies.

Kingpin, Cottonmouth, Killgrave, and Bushmaster were great.

edit: but tbf, they had more time to flesh them out.

Daredevil was awesome.I liked punisher, and Luke Cage was p good. Defenders was ok, but I felt like Luke Cage and daredevil p much carried everyone else. Also, Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin was so damn good.

I loved Jessica Jones, I know people get up in arms with tv shows these days and "nothing is happening when does it get good wah" but personally I just like to see the characters I like talk to each other

Yeah, I found him to be by far the best part of JJ season 1 too. Season 2 was better but a lot of season 1 just fell flat for me, and it bothered me how weirdly inconsistent her strength was.

They all had so much filler and just slogged.

They should have had 8 episodes a season

Kingpin on Daredevil was a one dimensional character and was much better in the Spider-Man animated series from the 90s. It was the same shit every episode with this guy and they dont really show off his genius very much. The actor does resemble him but yikes if you think hes a good character.

I dislike how they did my boy Danny, knowing how he is in the comics.

He's actually super laid back and zen, but they made him have a giant stick up his ass in the show.

They were mostly pretty harmless and occasionally well made but I found the very obvious padding out to make 10-12 eps in each case kinda obvious and annoying

One thing that ALL of the shows suffered from was having an entire episode where the hero is either impaired, unconscious or unable to use their abilities for whatever reason. That shit got old fast.

I don't think I found much if any of the side characters interesting either. Like I think Karen's parts of DD were honestly some of the biggest TV non events for me ever

After that, the only things that were good were the beginning of Daredevil season 2 (the Punisher episodes), and then season 1 of The Punisher itself. Everything else ranged from bad (Iron Fist) to just okay (Luke Cage s2), and I never even finished season 3 of Jessica Jones -- it was just too exhausting to care.

At least it went out on a high note with DD3 that season was amazing.

It also pissed me off that they took their sweet ass time giving Danny anything remotely resembling a suit.

I was actually cool with the green hoodie/yellow mask thing they were doing in Iron Fist Season 2.

the punisher episodes that are great end with a pace killing exposition dump and then several episodes where Matt tries to decide if he likes blonde Americans or brunette Europeans more
