Depends how you define hot shot attorney. Senior partners in a major firm can take home millions a year and have a much longer career than most baseball players.

Depends. Being a pro baseball player means you get some pay to play. If i was guaranteed MLB I'd go for that. I would not pick it if i have a minor league salary.

For a much shorter period of time, so it kind of balances out.

Also, most attorneys don't wind up having major joint pain or other physical problems later in life.

Baseball would be more exciting life. And baseball is great cause that's the least demanding major sport and you can make boatloads off it. Downside is the season length, plaything like everyday but like i said, you mostly stand around playing baseball. Get to visit all of the country and build camaraderie with your teammate.s

Baseball player would be more exciting, but require a ton of hard work, training, etc.

Attorney would be pretty boring. Long nights, paperwork, constant phone calls, etc.

Realistically, I am more suited to being an attorney, but I'd probably prefer being a baseball player if I had to choose between the two.

Hot Shot Lawyer.....

A pro-Baseball player lives on borrowed time. Sure, he'll get millions for his wicked RBI stats. But sooner or later age kicks in and his stats wouldn't be worth much.

Being a lawyer is all brains. And if you're good at what you do, you'd make $300-$500 per hour. And depending on what branch of the law you work and the company you represent, you'd make retainers well over the half-million mark.

So the choice is a million now as a baseball player with the fear of blowing out your shoulder....or millionS during the course of a long and prosperous career.

I'd rather be unemployed than have to be an attorney. Being a pro basketball player wouldn't be too bad and you can retire after a couple years if you don't mind living modestly.

Well with being a lawyer, you could start a private practice and take on as many clients as you want. Choose your own hours, see a few people then take the rest of the week off, if you're willing to live on whatever you choose to make.

Yeah but having to do lawyer work even once sounds like a nightmare and a half. I helped my grandfather out sometimes as a kid who was partner in a firm in atlanta and none of that looked anything less than miserable.
