It's somewhat old but I recommend Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. The combat is very satisfying. The writing is great, with a lot of lore if you're into that. It's also great if you're a completionist, with all the collections and achievements. I wish there were even more soulslike games but I am pretty happy we get a fair few these days. I also wish they'd make some harder ones. Since they typically only have 1 difficulty it can eventually feel kind of easy since all the soulslike games are roughly the same difficulty. It's not that bad, it's still a great game, it's just more one pathed, rather than more open worlded than 1.. One nice thing about 2 is you get thrown a lot more souls in it so you have no trouble getting levels and wearing heavier armor and like using strength weapons plus some spells or bows, I liked that about it. --- The doll's trying to kill me and the toaster's been laughing at me!
