This game is amazing.

I did chocobo breeding, which is way less intimidating than I thought it would be (I blame Pokemon). I did the chocobo racing too, of course! I even found a topic from @Jen0125 from ELEVEN years ago! It was about TEIOH and how to beat him. I was using automatic to race, but I always lost to this dude. Then I found out he always has higher stats than you! I lost to him 3 times in a row in the B rank races. I was super confused because I thought you're forced to go up a rank after three wins, but nope! TEIOH just stays and terrorizes B rank chocobo.

Also, I was racing for so long, Tifa eventually asked for a turn.

It was a totally unexpected and cute surprise. I'm sorry, Tifa. We'll move on after I get the Enemy Away materia.

I think the Enemy Away materia is my favorite because I hate random encounters. I also like Cover!

I feel like the game is a "rough draft." There's definitely parts that can be expanded upon. Like a lot of the relationships could've been fleshed out a bit (Aerith and Tifa in particular, because in my head canon they are BFFs). Some other story elements, but I need to think those over a bit.

I played a bit today. Trying to fill out the Enemy Skills Materia. The last couple are in the Northern Cave. I also farmed some Ribbons off of Master Tonberry. I have three now. Just need 6 more for everyone.

I'm done with the Enemy Skills Materia! I also got a ribbon for everyone!

Still gotta do Ruby, Emerald, and Ultimate Weapon. And explore the Forest of the Ancients. And get the master materias. And unlock everyone's Limit Breaks (only done with Cloud and Tifa).

The coolest summon objectively is Bahamut ZERO

Though obviously KOTR is stronger, still not as cool imo

Doing a little source farming right now. Got Cloud's attack and defense maxed out (he's also almost level 99, so that will be another achievement down). Got all limit breaks for Yuffie and Vincent.

I think I am going to buy a bunch of rods when this is over, put Throw on everyone, and throw rods at Sephiroth to remind him what he did. I got the idea from the FF7 board!

I'm also thinking about doing another playthrough with mods. I have it all setup, but it doesn't work with Steam AFAIK, so right now, no mods. But since it's not tied to Steam, I don't get achievements for it (and I'm missing a few, so I might do another run on Steam).

Got everyone's level 4 Limit Break! Just need to do Aerith on a replay to get all the achievements (probably gonna keep a file just for her). Mastered all the yellow materia to make the master one! Need to do Fullcure for the green materia. A whole bunch for the red materia (they're currently all on Cid with his triple growth weapon and rune armlet).

Also, I went ahead and bought myself the deluxe version of the remake, despite not having a PS4. Hoping my sister will let me borrow hers. She mostly plays Animal Crossing right now anyway.

Best thing is you can mod the game up real nice like so it looks A LOT better. Can fix some issues with it and even improve the game. Started playing it again just recently as well.

Cover and counter make an excellent combo. I also love enemy away materia

I had that combo on Cloud for a long time!

Also, I made the master green and yellow materia, but I forgot to get Typhoon at the Ancient Forest, so I can't get the master summon materia yet. But also, I need to max out Knights of the Round and a few others.
