So I just went to move a residents house and is there any reason why someone wouldn't turn up in the list? The only reason I noticed is because only 9 of the 10 residents turned up in the list.

Nobody is in boxes. Nobody is moving in/out. All houses are occupied.

The answer to this was that my attempts to bully someone off the island were too much. I had literally never spoken to them since they moved in so they didn't show up in the list until they did

I wonder if villagers can move out of you never ever talk to them? Seems like you may need that initial flag for other stuff to trigger

Almost got all Nook's Cranny Wallpaper/Flooring catalogued woo. Well mostly floor (just Rubber-Tile Flooring left)... Wallpaper oddly has a lot left still (12, wishlisted in my catalogue)

Currently have 12 gold nuggets, but already crafted: golden seat (5 gold), golden toilet (6 gold), golden gears (1 gold), golden dung beetle (3 gold), golden ariana (3 gold), aries rocking chair (1 gold), taurus bathtub (1 gold). That's every recipe I have with gold in it, except Robot Hero, who I'm not even close to, but only because of the rusted parts.

Do some people really not find gold very often? Or maybe they don't do mystery islands where you get so many more chances with all the rocks?

Even on mystery island tours I seem to find gold every 1 in 4 islands at most. I've started breaking the rocks at max fruit levels because supposedly that helps spawn gold nuggets from other rocks later? But not exactly sure how it works.

I somehow lost all my gold nuggets and I don't know how.

They only thing I can think of is that when I was trying to give my friend one gold nugget I may have accidentally gave her the entire stack instead. But I really don't know.

Trading on the trade board. I used to exchange NMTs/letting people in to collect diys for them. Recently I traded 27 NMTs for 30 Rusted Parts for my second Robot Hero.

E: Oh yeah NMT trading will absolutely do it too. I have 150kish Nook miles and seriously thinking of getting 30 or so NMTs and seeing how many gold nugs I could get for them.

The trading biz is a good hustle! People have excess of different things depending on what they usually trade for. For a while NMTs were super valuable, at least to time travelers. I think I traded some at a rate of like 1 NMT for 250k bells or something utterly ridiculous.

Yeah from what I've seen, the average going rate for a NMT is around 200k which is why I never go on tours and use them for deals. People commonly accept them for entry when they have a good diy, celeste, meteor shower, or other things like that.

dunno if it's daily or not, although Blathiers did say I completed "today's" stamps, but that doesn't necessarily mean there's new ones daily.
