Solid, probably leaning letting UAL ride and keeping an eye on how domestic travel pans out with the loosened restrictions.

That said, I have a feeling that even if we get a second wave, we might not see the level of lockdown that we saw in April.

Beautiful day today. My stocks are up 52%, 14%, and 11%.

I'm considering getting out of LK now that we finally have a green day with it. Still a long way below where it was when it reopened after the halt, of course. I guess it's only $600 I have in it at this point after the long fall from $6 so might as well hold onto it and wait for the earnings report.

Even with todays monster gains, Im STILL down a couple thousand from April 29.

As far as LK goes, who knows. I think its going to get delisted.

I'm sure LK will go up to well above where it is after earnings and maybe even above $6. I would just hold until after that. The delist risk is real but I don't think it'll be delisted before then.

I actually bought 100 shares today because it stopped freefall. My thinking is it either goes up from here on and I make money, or it goes down, and I load up on more, and sell after earnings. I'm not gonna put a ton in either way just a few hundred bucks.

I wanted to put around $600 in total but I wouldn't be surprised if it dropped back down a ton tomorrow so I'm holding off on more shares. If it just goes up up up I'll settle for my profits being around 1/3 what they should be and just be happy to make the money is what I figure. In theory if I feel the way I do (that there's no way this stock is this low after the earnings call) I should just put the rest of the money I want to put in, but I'm being greedy cause why else would I support corrupt coffee overlords but greed.

Futures is up 110 at this point. Yesterday also started with futures up a good bit at opening. About 300 I believe.

Yes, but youd have to be comfortable holding for several months to see some giant gains. Unfortunately the cruise lines wont be opening during part of summer, but once they reopen you can expect their values to go up. Good luck timing the market from now until then though, in case you were trying to daytrade them.

Ive seen overnight selling swallow over 200 points in gains on a few occasions. Its unfair that only some people/companies have the ability to sell overnight in real time, whereas if we try to we are forced to sell at the opening price.

Today is the day I can finally sell my banks for a profit! I suppose I could risk holding but given what Ive gone through, Ill just take the gains and invest elsewhere.

Sold JPM, BAC, C, and PRU at open. Made $2300. All Im holding now is WYNN.

I went against the strategy, bought 120 more shares today despite it going up.

Now Luckin will tank. Believe.

mistake!!! Moon you should have held on, in my opinion. If you needed the money I guess sell, but if the economy is truly coming back the banks will be even higher a year from now.

Im up $10k since early March. I had one bad investment and it was a brutal one; lost about $4,500 from YGYI. Terrible. But besides that, Im doing very well.

Today has been so weird. CAR was up 11% in the first half hour, then lost all its gains in the span of half an hour and touched red area very briefly. Now it's up 11% again.

I'm wondering if maybe I should sell my CAR shares. I've only held them for 2 weeks but they've been up 10% nearly every day and I'm up 93%. I wonder how long this can keep going.

I am planning on visiting Wynn in Vegas maybe late June if the pandemic situation looks safe. I was actually there a couple days before they closed in March and they had probably the best blackjack conditions Vegas has seen in years (maximum 3 players to a table, and low bet minimums). I think the max 3 players to a table rule is probably here to stay for a while, which is good for players enjoying their experience but maybe not for the house.

I checked my offers and they are offering me comped nights during the week but not for the weekend. I suppose that means that enough people are booking that they don't feel the need to dig deep to get customers to come.

I decided to stay in CAR for now. I'll probably sell if it gets to $30 but I think it's still a good value even at $22. When I bought at $11 I was looking for it to rise to $30+ but didn't expect it to break $20 within 2 weeks.

Bought some F today. I think people are going to need cars more going forward, as living in cities and using public transportation has proven to be quite dangerous for health and increasingly unnecessary for work.

Gutsy pick on CAR, given what happened to Hertz.

ERI is still climbing and it looks like EVRI is getting momentum too. I've no idea when I'm selling either one of these! But for now I'm planning on holding a while.

Also been hoping to get more BAC stocks but it's at 26 now, damn. Slightly regret selling at 24. Wonder if it will get back to the pre-corona numbers (30-35) sooner rather than later.

And I may still want to get WYNN but not sure what would be reasonable to buy at.

If you have any of WYNN, ERI, or EVRI then you might as well have all three (if youre confident that the casino/resorts are going up, which I am) as a means of partial diversity.

WYNN is reopening June 4. It was announced today and thats why WYNN (and presumably EVRI) increased toward the end of the day. ERI is going on like ten days of green now, hopefully WYNN does the same once it reopens.

I think WYNN and ERI are actually quite different. WYNN gets most of their profits from Macau. ERI is overwhelmingly US-centric.

I do think Wynn is the best of the casino companies. I wish they'd bring Steve back though - he has a vision for casino resorts that no one else has.

Better than MGM? I personally really love MGM as the company, as for the stock... the others might be slightly better. They all move together though

For the financials, MGM has a more burdensome debt load. For the properties as a consumer, I guess a lot of my feeling is based on the fact that Steve Wynn built the Bellagio and the Mirage. He sold them to MGM 20 years ago, but the fact that Bellagio is still MGM's flagship property shows that they haven't had the vision to build something revolutionary like that.

The Bellagio is awesome, I play poker, craps there from time to time. It's epic with the fountains.... Vegas in general is just a fun time. Of course... it's tougher having that feeling when you're down big, but when you first get there the feeling is great.
