You could have not told half the country for years that just because they didn't like Hillary's policies, they were supporting sexual assault. accept the fact that you have zero ability to influence nationwide policy, stop acting like earth's mightiest defender whose opinion or vote will somehow make the world a better place, and instead choose to take personal responsibility over the things which you can affect. joe biden, trump, third party, abstain, your vote isn't going to change the outcome. the idea that your vote matters is a scam. and this sword cuts two ways. if your vote between trump and biden does not matter; this implicitly means that the democrats choosing to nominate biden does not affect you. the electoral college is going to choose who they want to. and before that, the vote of thousands of people is going to drown out your voice. you can let it go as easy as that, be happier, be more fulfilled, and still nothing has changed because your vote would not have made any difference.

Biden is a far more qualified candidate than Bernie Sanders. He's not an open communist, he worked well as VP, and he's actually electable.

The issue is he hates women and pretty clearly has dementia. Anchors help him as much as possible during his rare live interview bits anymore and he still looks and acts like all of our grandpas when they go senile. We've all dealt with it at some point in our family I'm sure. It's never fun.

The Rich McHugh article has definitely made me rethink things a bit. Before I thought there was maybe a 10% chance that Biden did it; now its up to, I dont know, 70%? There are still a lot of red flags but this is actually something concrete from a reporter I respect.

That said, even if Biden did it theres still a huge gap between what hes accused of and what Trumps been accused of (hell, Trump literally bragged about doing almost exactly this in the Access Hollywood tape!) and we cannot under any circumstances afford another four years of this shit. Im still gonna wait and see as things continue to progress, but if at the end of the day Im convinced he did it I will not consider myself to be a supporter of his, even if he does have my vote against Trump.

Also, generally, a President is not a Roman censor, he is not the Pope, he is not necessarily a role model for others. Our first President owned hundreds of slaves. Another ordered the deaths of 150,000+ civilians in Japan. Theres no way we can know for sure (even if Reades supposed 1993 police report turned up it would still not prove that he did it) and I would certainly not convict him if I was on a criminal jury. Sorry to clarify, it's the evidence itself (the friend's testimony) that's causing me to reevaluate. My comment about the journalist was mostly to note that he's not a hack like Katie Halper who I wouldn't trust to do basic vetting of information that feeds into her biases.

"Believe the victim always" is the stupidest fucking take you can have in 2020. The criminal justice system is founded on the presumption of innocence for many very good reasons, and the SJW lynch mobs that form any time one of these situations comes up is bizarre and confusing.

This specific situation involves a woman who for the last 30 years has said nothing, yet suddenly felt the need to "come forward" with absolutely no evidence or corroboration, at the EXACT MOMENT that it was clear Bernie was going to lose.

Bernie bros are right up there with Trump voters when it comes to not making any goddamn sense, and putting "feelings" above logic and reason. Bernie has some good ideas (it blows my mind that most Americans think that Universal Healthcare available in every other developed country in the world is some kind of "socialist boogeyman"), but ultimately couldn't even do enough to get his own supporters to vote for him.
