Well, moved it back to the big box.
Gave a small litter box, which it used correctly first try! Unfortunately litter stuck and I was required to clean, still good. Very needy baby! Wouldn't eat the formula. which has a weird label. Expiration date is quite some time Refrigerate after opening. Discard after 3 days. These words are not connected, so do I throw away 3 days after opening? All cans after 3 days even unopened despite exp. date? Ugh, either way, wouldn't eat at 4AM, but kept crying in its box. Played, cuddled, slept, but wouldn't stay in box without crying! Cute but frustrating. Eventually worked out. Kitteh is smart. 3 weeks old already litter boxing! Also 11 ounces! Is good! --- Manliness transcends both space, and time. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Ah heck nah! One was stress enough.Generally, the practice is to keep the kitten warm and try to catch the mom and put it in a kennel (and take it to get spayed somewhere, which can be free for community cats, after raising the kittens). If you have the mom, you generally just need to keep it in an enclosed space and feed it/provide a litter box for the mom, and maybe change its bedding. The mom will do the rest, and you can let her go free when the kittens wean. Then, after the cat is spayed and its ear is clipped, you can let it go. Typically feral cats don't want to be adopted, and there are communities dedicated to capturing and neutering/spaying wild cats so they clip their ears so they know they don't need to fix them if they end up in a trap. It's a lot easier than bottle feeding, but you might have to be careful depending on the behavior of the feral cat. Some can be pretty friendly with people, some can be very aggressive. --- <insert sig here> ... Copied to Clipboard!

Well, as for recently. Yesterday, I took my eyes off it for a second while it was wandering living room next to me, and it disappeared. So of course I felt THE PANIC. That was fun. Found it, it was fine. Likewise something similar happened this morning, though I barely looked up, but this time I knew precisely where he went. Then he pooped in a hard to reach area on the floor... Despite 2 hrs of play/feed/cuddle, he was still needy when I left. So I put on purring vids on YouTube!
