It took awhile but Professor Layton Vs Phoenix Wright has been beaten and B8 voted Phoenix Wright Dual Destinies aka Ace Attorney 5 as the current one....so this poll should last another month.

The first half of that game was a bit jarring in a bad way, and felt super forced to blend both elements. As the game chilled out with Layton doing more investigating and Phoenix handling the court duties it became more balanced. The last 6 hrs were spent on the last trial and it was a great one, a throwback to Phoenix wright 1 where we knew who was guilty going into the trial itself.

Actual progress
I managed to finish the case 2 intial investigation. Athena + Apollo is a better working relationship than Athena + Phoenix. they have no chemistry as characters
