Packages left on doorstep, I open the garage and move the package inside the garage with gloves and leave it there like 3-4 days. Just me?

Considering it can remain on cardboard for up to two weeks? You have a poor strategy.

Disinformation got to you buddy, hard materials is a danger, the softer, the less time it survives. Cardboard is like 2 days max.

Only entertainment like blurays, everything else can wait. I'm not wasting wipes and **** for something I don't need right away.

To disinfect the paper just dont wet it to the point where the words are unreadable.

i do the same thing tbh tc. I live in an apartment building with one of those lockers where they put in your package and you get emailed a code to unlock it. I've been leaving my shit in there for a few days, then once i bring it up i leave it off to the side for a day or two.

I dont want to waste my cleaning products on it, and i do want to avoid unnecessary usage as well. I'm disinfecting the hell out of my place but any time i dont have to use toxic chemicals im avoiding it.

Also TC is correct about the life span on the virus. Even if a tiny amount is still living after a day or two, the amount of remaining virus thats viable to cause infection is so small. Even with the best of cleaning youre liking to come into contact with it somehow at some point the key is avoiding contact with people who are shedding virus and reducing your amount of exposures

Fact checking confirms.. you are actually correct. Sorry for my disinformation.

Dude, the amount of people who admit being wrong is so few and far between in this day and age, you have my respect, sir.

immediately spray something that kills viruses like 60%+ alcohol on it and wipe it off, take your stuff out, trash the box and desinfect your stuff thoroughly.

Now you can quarantine the contents of the box. Finish off by thoroughly washing your hands with soap for over 20 seconds.
