That boss is pretty ridiculous.

The thing I hate about him is that it's virtually impossible to get a competitive fight out of him. Either you steamroll over him or he beats you.

Go to Armored Armadillos stage and kill the bats in the beginning to fill up your e-tanks and then make sure to use rolling shield on his final form. It is hard but it's not impossibly hard.

You can fill up your tanks just fine with those worms right before Sigma

I don't think I've beaten his final form either. I may or may not have lol

Velguarder Sigma can be intimidating at first but he's quite easy.

My tip is to immediately climb the left wall and get on the paw. Then position yourself on the right side of it and fire away. If you're in the right spot the electric shock from the paw shouldn't hit you, then all you have to do is dodge the other paw when it charges over.

As for the weakness that's Rolling Shield. If using the buster he can only be hit by full charge shots, and yes as said above Hadouken won't work on this final form.

His stage is to fill up your lives on that special bat. For etanks just charge up rolling shield and hump one of Sigmas glory holes, the shield will kill the worms.

Agreed it's one of the best. Wily while aggravating can get much easier with practice. The energy orbs home in on your current position. So if for example you jump right after they're shot out then they will travel to that position as you drop back to the floor. Then just slide away and avoid the two larger shots as they come at you again.

Like many other players I've gotten frustrated with Wily. Even after all 5 tanks I've died. However after enough practice I took it down to beating him with 3 tanks. I hope one day I can fight him without using one at all. Also thanks to the MM7 run at the last SGDQ I learned of a quick kill on the Wily Machine fight.

That is a more efficient method right before Sigma. To make it even easier to collect, use the charged version of Rolling Shield. Insta-kills the worms while you stay in the same area.

Also Wolf Sigma isn't that difficult if you manage to stay on his hand platform by it's edge (avoiding the lightning) and go ham on his head using Rolling Shield.

Definitely one of the hardest in the series.

Sigma in X1 and X2 are tame in comparison to the rest (X6 may be an exception)

Yes, but if you hadouken can you beat everything up to that with no damage easily to give you a better shot on final form.

Ive played and seen so many Megaman games but the only one Ive beaten myself is X4 with cheats because I KNEW WHAT I WAS FIGHTING FOR

and failing that, I'll probably stream it either tomorrow or the day after and do a full playthrough, since I can pretty much beat the game without the hadouken, so you can hop and watch me beat it lol.
