The taxpayers are taking a risk by funding bailouts, so they deserve to share a part of the profits once the economy turns around.
Magdalena Andersson, Minister of Finance Im very much in favour of this. Give bailouts but see it as a favourable loan in times of crisis. --- "BalanceLost has a steam-powered PS2 because Sweden don't have electric" - dimeanatrix ... Copied to Clipboard!

"here's the medicine you need to survive"Not really comparable situations. For many reasons. And if a sick person survives then he/she will in a sense pay back some of the cost by paying taxes once back in work. Its not small businesses that will be forced to pay back but the larger profitable corporations and make immense profits and pay fairly low taxes (our corporate tax is not very high) in good times but suddenly need bailouts when the world economy starts to shake. --- "BalanceLost has a steam-powered PS2 because Sweden don't have electric" - dimeanatrix ...
