My parents never taught me good cleaning habits and yelled at me when something got bad enough that I told them there was a problem so I've grown up disorganized and reluctant to clean. But thanks to coronavirus I'm off campus and gonna be in my room for like seven months now so I might as well make it civilized.

There is so much dust >_> my fan was so gross. It will be a lot easier to sort stuff once it's all dusted but all I have is this one raggy microfiber cloth. I have to clean something then take it downstairs to soak and dry it before continuing.
Cleared out an old toy box in the corner filled with junk and trash. Need to finish clearing my old wardrobe filled with clothes from years ago and kindergarten puzzles. Need to clean under my bed.

Final boss will be my closet

No, my room is a fucking mess, and every time I get the gumption to actually try and do anything about it I don't get very far. I really want to get it straightened up, but I've got issues between laziness, chronic fatigue, and depression that just wear me down.

Haven't dusted or vacuumed in a bit.. But there's no clutter and the bed is made.

No. I generally just leave clothes lying around. The clean stuff is in the laundry basket where it's been since I brought it back up from the wash. When the basket gets empty, I just throw dirty stuff from the floor into the basket and do a load of laundry.

My room is literally for sleeping and changing. I spend zero time in there outside of sleeping or changing, and my door is always closed to keep our cats out, so I don't particularly care what it looks like. It's functional and there's no mold or cobwebs or anything like that, so I'm good.

As much as I can... I too had build up over the years because never really cleaned and have parents that just pile stuff up when there's no room for it. Then one day it snapped and I spent like 8 days solid gutting and going through just one room. It's getting to a point I now need to figure out how to extract and swap out the furniture. Also still have some other areas to clear out, but I get yelled at for cleaning as well.

None of it is garbage, such as rotting food etc, just clutter... such as boxes or stuff that no longer serves a purpose.
I'm trying to resist doing the furniture part, as it's not priority and now ain't exactly the greatest time for that.

I do however have to dust pretty often.

I need to sweep and throw away a shoebox, but that's about it.

It could use a vacuuming, but it's not bad otherwise. I work in here now so I want it to at least not be a mess, which it isn't. But it certainly isn't pristine either.
