So another incentive in not getting infected is not having to get shot up with this emergency drug

So actual patients in need of the drug can't find it because Trump's focus on it has caused idiots to hoard it already and they are just going to start using it on people instead of testing it first

Yeah this won't end well

that's the whole story..... we gotta stop taking drugs that don't work for the particular problem.
people with lupus and rheumatoid arthritis need it alot more than the general population.

My mom has both, she also has Sjogren's syndrome though I don't know if this helps her with that. My mom's script is a week behind because of this, I can only get part of her script filled because there is a shortage. It sounds like some time this week I will get a full script, but I'm worried now about in the future. I'm not even trying to get a 90 day script yet, it just doesn't seem possible at the moment.

If it helps it helps, my mom would be willing to go week to week with a patch work script if it helped saved lives. It's stupid though if there isn't evidence of it being any help. The side effects are also scary as hell, so they should be positive that this will help save lives before using it.

Trump is desperate right now. So he's willing to take anything to boost his ratings. The sad thing is, I see this going well like the couple who tried it and one died.

Why are we letting a failed businessman make medical decisions for the entire country when hes not even close to knowing anything about what hes talking about.

The only things this guy cares about is his ratings and making his friends/family money.

So rather than do a proper clinical study, the Fat Orange Brain Damaged Idiot instead chooses to conduct the tests on the already infected in the hopes that it might work?

To anyone reading this, you are allowed to tell your doctor that you do not want this particular treatment, as it is unproven and therefore potentially life threatening. And that if they do, you will sue them and the hospital.

It's safe enough that it's approved to be prescribed to children as a preventative measure against malaria. The issue is whether it's effective against coronavirus.
