I usually buy toilet paper, deodorant, toothpaste, soap, etc., all 1-2 years worth. Seriously, I havent purchased soap since early 2018, and TP in like mid to late 2018.

But now Im down to like 6 rolls and cant find any anywhere. I know I cant expect to buy 2 years worth again now... fuck, even one years worth is out of the question. But I just need ONE goddamn pack right now.

I think Cabin Fever is starting to hit me too.

Yeah, it's so fucking dumb.
Finally got a 12 pack of TP on Friday at Walmart after striking out for weeks at numerous places. It was an adventure... Shelves in the back were empty, guy working there said it was gone.
Saw someone w/ it at checkout, he said it just got filled on the shelf. Went all the way back there, still empty. Looked for end caps, nothing. Saw a woman w/ a pack, asked her. She said it was on a pallet being brought to the front. Seriously?! Went back to the front of the store and finally found it!
Getting TP shouldn't be so fucking tense.

Maybe these people strategically were holding in all of their #2's to do at work, and now that they're home they need way more TP?

Apparently Costco isn't going to be allowing people to return toilet paper or bottled water, so hopefully that will cut down on the hoarding from people who figure they'll just return it if we come through this in a few months and they haven't run out of their 27 years' worth of toilet paper.

I predict that come Halloween, if the virus has subsided, we'll be facing the worst TP'ing houses epidemic we've ever seen in our lifetimes.

Alot of the early ones were speculators who thought they could resell individual rolls for 2 dollars a pop. Everyone else started buying it so they dont have to pay those a-holes.

Amazon and ebay shut em down but some of these jerks were offering 4 packs of angel soft for 25 dollars. They same happened with hand sanitizer he has a video made about him and regardless what he says he did not donate anything the government confiscated his 17000 bottles and they donated it. His spin was like saying a speeding ticket fine is a wonded warrior donation.

So yeah sheeple and here is a link

Every place needs to follow that rule.

Once this is over I can see grocery stores getting buried in toilet paper they don't have room to store.

Seriously though, and honestly never thought I would have this convo, but how do some people use SO much toilet paper (I'll admit it's usually girls, and I get that they wipe for 1 as well).

But I mean, I have had male roomates that go through a roll in a week as well (At least, some more).

Meanwhile, and this is probably more info they you ever wanted, I use scotts, because it's very strong/firm and doesn't rip, and I use 3 sheets per wipe, and usually wipe about 3-4 times (why am I being so descriptive?) and I look at the 3rd wipe......to see if I need a 4th.

Way more then I ever wanted to share, but I'm curious, how people use so much. Using that method, one roll lasts me at least 2 weeks, sometimes 3 or 4 (I do tend to only go 2 once a day, rarely twice, unless I eat something really greasy or bad).

A 12 pack of Scotts is likely to last me over a year (as long as I'm not sharing the bathroom with just about ANYONE cause everyone uses more than me.

I wash my hands afterwards mind you, but I have never gotten anything on my hands, nor not felt clean afterwards etc.

So I do not get how people use so much, nor why they are hoarding (well I mean I understand the hoarding for some, my best friends wife in Gilroy would go throuuh multiple rolls A DAY!!!!). If you live with someone like that, you probably gotta hoard just for a freaking week lols.

Love it.

Also, the trick is to have older people you know get you stuff during the special first hour. My dad brought me a bunch of stuff from Costco I needed. I wasnt going to waste my time lining up to get nothing later in the day.

This is why Im so glad I live on my own lol. Before I moved out in September 2018, I ordered two 24-packs of tube-free toilet paper and I still have a little over half of a pack left

And you cant even get tube-free anymore.

Weird, but I guess kind of good in a way because maybe people who need it can actually get it now. But my grocery store I believe said no returns on various things including toilet paper
