I get going silent to work on the game, lots of devs do it. But the stuff that they have been hard pushing the most as of late, like these photo/cosplay contests and merchandise, just feels strange.
Hell, a vast majority of the posts on the game's official Twitter have nothing to do with details regarding the actual game itself.

I take it whenever they do get around to dropping some kind of information, it's going to be a HUGE drop.

Okay. Even before that, the community had felt this way about how they were going about promoting the game.

Personally, I don't think it was ever intended to release on April and it was just a date they threw up to shut people up for the time being.

Despite it being a long ass time again, the issue a lot seem to have with the deep dive video was that it was initially going to be the hour-long video they showed at E3 behind closed doors last year. But, like days before they were going to put it up, they decided to cut it down into this 15 minute version that just showed highlight of that presentation. I was just happy to see something new from the game, but I understand why that pissed folks off.
But it does beg the question of what's stopping them from putting up the hour long version they showed to the press?
