People fighting because they stood too close to each other outside a fucking sandwich shop when the line was only 3 people long.

People around me refuse to give any more personal space than normal. There are fewer people out, but in the places they do go it's business as usual. They'll stand right behind each other in line, even if there's only two people.

it's crazy. austin has been the exact opposite. people are outside every day, nobody seems to care about personal space, but aren't fighting each other about it either. the enormous college population goes out and parties nightly, and our city public (natural) pool has been filled with people ever since it got warm. you wouldn't think shit was happening here unless you went into a grocery store or something, ok?

Must just be certian cities. I really haven't noticed a significant change in traffic around here, but I live in a relatively small city.

Traffic had a noticeable decline here in Bakersfield. But not nearly approaching what one might consider a ghost town. I get mostly green lights on my drive to work in the mornings and cars are few enough that I don't have any trouble getting around people when they're going slower than I want to go. My drive home is on the freeway though. There are still enough cars there that I still get stuck behind slower traffic.

I don't go to stores often, even before this outbreak, so I haven't been out to see if there's been any change. My GF works at Home Depot though and she says it's actually busier than ever with people buying all sorts of non essential items. Bringing their kids with them, just loitering and touching everything as if it were business as usual.
