Nothing really. Other than everything being sold out because people act like they will never leave their houses ever again... But work is still the same and everything. I think some of the places will work from home. But not many of us can. So, its a very small amount of people that will do that. Also, the dining facility and restaurant on base are still open for dine in, but they have less tables to prevent people from being close to each other...

I know it's pretty serious but I'm starting to miss our old discussions.

I work in the ICU and haven't even met anyone with COVID19 and I'm in California. I know it exists but I have yet to witness a case. During my trip to the Philippines, I had to stop at Wuhan, China. When word of the Wuhan virus got out, I was worried that my family and I had contracted it, but we were lucky.

What bothers me is that China was already building NEW hospitals the moment the rest of the world found out about the virus. They were obviously expecting hospitalizations. The Chinese government was so secretive about the severity of the virus when they could have communicated vital information that could have allowed for better preparation, and now the rest of the world has to suffer. It's extremely selfish! People have died and now this is causing major disruptions in people's everyday lives. Just look at what's going on to Italy and their medical system.

Supplies are not infinite and unfortunately a lot of medical supplies as well as pharmaceutical drugs are manufactured in China.

Still working. Amount of morons we've seen coming to get tested has increase, as well as the endless stories I could tell people but can't. I mean, it's exactly what we need: idiots panicking and wasting everyone's time to get tested based on nothing.

The following products are basically empty where I shop: Bread, pastas, water, toilet paper, ramen noodles cups, eggs, floor, sugar, etc.

I want to buy some floors too.

I live in Seattle, and thankfully my boss got on the "work from home" thing a couple weeks before everyone else started. My family (wife and son) have kept mostly at home, going on walks occasionally.

I work from home now. It was a very sudden decision made by management. I don't have access to a lot of stuff and there are not enough laptops for everyone to work from home with. I cannot use my own pc to connect to my work's vpn or whatever. So I'm basically doing nothing.

No dine-in at all at this point due to a statewide ban, but carryout and delivery are still up. Thus far, neither of my jobs are affected, and I am still working normal hours. My wife already works for home, so she is continuing as normal.

It looks like I'm going to get a temporary job screening people for quarantine entry to the AL facility two of my relatives work at, which is good because I've been starved for hours at my current job.

Feels a bit weird to actually be benefiting from the situation, tbh. :(
