Terbus would only be useful in a baby show for babies. Captain Falcon Ehh when it comes to Captain Falcon, he's a little smooth and good at being fast. I mean, A-Wings are fast ships, so he's in the right fighter, so Falcon would be the best at piloting an A-Wing. He'd probably bring in a much more grey side to the franchise. However, Falcon just lacks a little too much personality to be too great. When he does do well, it's funny the first time, but really not after that. He's too much of a bulldozer to be a good choice as a pilot for a fast surgical fighter. Captain Britain Here's a guy with some good potential. Great leadership ability, great intellect, and his abilities to boot. Also, being an English superhero just dropped into a Star Wars setting would be a great slice of specific personality in a fish-out-of-water scenario. However, his powers make him just a little awkward in terms of being in the fighter as opposed to out of it. Dr. Robotnik What made Robotnik decide to join the Rebel alliance? Why is he leading an A-wing squadron? I guess he has the piloting ability and engineering prowess. He probably built his own A-Wing, but improved on it in every way, leading the way for an elite squadron. Problem is, he's a baddie, so he's trying to conquer. Use the Rebel Alliance to make his own path to rule. Definitely an interesting angle, but wouldn't last for more than a miniseries. Sephiroth Sephiroth's issue is that he's not really that interesting of a character AFTER the insanity thing. In that sense. he'd just be a bad pretty boy. So let's go with the HERO of all HERO's. Trying to set an example, being the ace pilot, and a great solider. But all along, being strung along by a corrupted Rebel general? I mean, it'd be okay, I guess. But sticking with your Captain theme, we're stuck with a guy who literally has no reason to be in an A-Wing. He can survive in space, and has greater powers than a Starfighter. What's the point, man? Rocket Raccoon Rocket is already a cosmic character, so the differences here are in setting, placing him as an ace pilot in a Rebel A-Wing squadron. This is an interesting, and technically possible thing, given the Disney acquisitions. Rocket as a wisecracking Racoon wouldn't be seen as out-of-place in the galaxy, but his struggle to fit in to a group of go-getters trying to liberate the galaxy would be an interesting angle to pursue. Is he working with them just because he doesn't like the Empire? Is there some element to his past we have to uncover? There's a lot to unpack here, and when he hops out of the fighter, he still has quite the non-Jedi repertoire to propel him through this series. A good choice, for sure. Sheldon Cooper If you are a complete idiot, this would be a great franchise. If you have a single working brain cell in your body, this is literally worthless. More worthless than literally a single blank piece of paper piloting an A-Wing for a 16 book series.
