Just whenever I am in the mood. For example, I have finished the three Crash Bandicoot games more than once, but I do not make it a habit to get myself to play them on a consistent basis. I have also finished Fire Emblem and the Sword of Seals, in addition to its prequel, a number of times; but again, I only started playing them once I was in the mood. On the other hand, I have loaded onto my PS4 the Kingdom Hearts collection, but am not really in any gigantic hurry to play them, since I've already done so on the PS3. Needless to say, I am beginning to regret purchasing it. In any case, my answer to your poll would be, "Whenever I am in the mood to".

Not counting arcade style games that are meant to be finished in one sitting (provided you've developed your skills enough), occasionally. It's something I'm most likely to do after finishing another game if it's something I've been meaning to do.

I finished Pine not too long ago, then resumed Atelier Lydie and Suelle which has been in my backlog for over a year, and Rune Factory 4S, which is probably my most highly anticipated title in the last few years, releases on the 25th. I enjoyed Pine enough to want to replay it. If I finish ALS before the 25th, I'll very likely start a new game in Pine. If not, it'll probably go back into backlog again, at least until I've had enough RF4S to be willing to divide my game time between those two titles, then start up Pine when I'm done with either of the two, unless I decide to buy Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team Deluxe or Animal Crossing New Horizons releases first.

Rarely. I've actually just got done with going through all the Devil May Cry games again. This was due in part to buying the Devil May Cry HD collection. I'll be playing the Final Fantasy X/X2 HD collection too at some point. The most I've ever played a series more than once is with Kingdom Hearts games though. Very few game series or games in general are worth playing more than once for me.

Oh this too unless a trophy is involved and then it's just normal mode. Whenever I play a game for the first time it's always on normal anyway.

I almost exclusively play games I've beaten many times before. I have a few "new" games that I've never even played. Horizon Zero Dawn is still in its plastic wrap.

I have one chieve left on CoD MW2 for finding all collectibles... now I have to find a used copy somewhere and go back through the game. Which I didnt really want to do haha.

I put most games on the hardest setting required for an achievement to get it out of the way. Im pretty good at shooters so its never usually a problem. I struggled a bit with Mile High Club in MW2 back in the day, actually. I think I was the fourth person to get it according to an old website that tracked achievements.

I just finished replaying Fable III, and I'm replaying Dragon Age: Origins right now.

I'm basically procrastinating playing like a half-dozen games I've bought and never gotten around to playing, so it's not just a case of not having anything else to play.

Depends on the game. Link To The Past, I've lost count how many times I've replayed it since it first came out. Some games like Eternal Darkness, I only 'replayed' to 100% it, then traded it in at GameStop.

Fairly rarely, if only because my backlog of unplayed games is so large that replaying old ones is kind of silly. I'll occasionally pick one up from time to time, though. I'm actually working my way through OoT 3D right now, which I got in a bundle with my 3DS but only just started to play last week (first time replaying OoT since before the 3DS came out).

Does it count as "replay" if I'm not done with a game?
900+ hours in Forza Horizon 4 and still going, playing every day for 14 months now. 2500+ in Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, HR9, all Fatalis, still working in Treasure Hunt records and new weapons.

Fairly regularly, lots of games I play are competition like shooters or mtg but I have a tendency to go back and play a few games over and over. Often itll be the few roms Ive saved from a decade ago that are easy to play while watching tv in the background.

I'll pick up a controller pretty much every day and wander yet again through an open world game that I've already explored every inch of. But I think the only story-driven, linear games I've returned to are the original Devil May Cry and The Last of Us.
