7 hours in, kind of expected it to be over already >_>.

It's distracting me from RDR2, and Ace Combat 7 that I just bought and haven't started.

It definitely captures that old school Duke Nukem vibe I think, though it does have some annoying shit (like these headcrab-style enemies that just get all up in your shit; they're not hard, there's just too many of them, like the FPS equivalent of a random encounter in an NES JRPG).

It's usually pretty straightforward but there are some switches or buttons that can be easy to overlook sometimes (they really went all in on the old-school aspect; there are no objective markers or anything like that).

I'm playing on the Normal difficulty and I am getting destroyed at times - stand in one spot too long or aim your grenade wrong and you can kiss a lot of your health goodbye.

I am getting nervous that the farther I get the less ammo I seem to be finding >_>. And it's not like I'm wasting it on anything.

Sounds pretty good, if not exactly great. I look forward to it.

I like how some of these encounters that are meant to be intimidating actually become stupid easy when the AI gets hung up on a wall and fires its grenades and bullets in the opposite direction while you chip away at its health >_>

Yeah, I hated those things with a fucking passion. The venomous centipedes that split up if you hit their body and not their head were also annoying, but at least a single grenade would take them down plus they weren't around every corner like those stupid crab enemies.
