I like how this older Mystery Incorporated crew is so much different from the Scooby gang. They make for interesting foils, and I love me some foils.

Dragon Ball Episode 50 complete! That means I've made it about 1/3 of the way through!

I wasn't sure I liked this Blue guy until he choked out the eel that was electrocuting him. That was hardcore.

That was a really trippy episode, but I feel like we got derailed from the main plot pretty early on! Oh well.

Okay, after some research, it appears I completed the Neutral and True Pacifist routes in Undertale last night. It's nice that the game lets you reload your final save, and then you can go back and do a couple of things to unlock the True Pacifist ending. The true lab area was really cool. The entire final stretch of the game was pretty great in terms of presentation. I guess all that's left now is the Genocide route.

I did my first playthrough blind and couldn't figure out how to do the Toriel (lmao) or Undyne fights without killing them, so I ended up having to redo the whole game. (Which to be fair is only like 8-10 hours but still) Though to be fair, I wasn't trying that hard to go Pacifist or anything; I was just playing the game the way that felt natural to me.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect the Genocide route to be as good as this because it's probably a more "straightforward" JRPG experience and the battle system when played regularly isn't all that special. It's going out of your way to play it differently that makes it a unique experience.

Well, the Genocide route actually ends up tweaking with the formula a bit also. Though, (mild spoilers) you sort of have to go out of your way to play the game differently in order to actually trigger the Genocide route anyways. It's not as simple as just "don't spare anyone".

The Neutral ending variants are probably the closest to your standard JRPG.

Okay, that fight against the pirate robot was great! The design reminded me a lot of a Wily machine in Mega Man.

Man, it's nice to be able to blow through dungeons on NG+ in Persona 4 Golden. Steamy Bathhouse is out of the way, and it's all smooth sailing from here.

This really has no relevance to anything but that in their last 100 games against each other Duke and UNC have both won 50 games and scored the exact same number of points is one of the crazier sports stats out there.

Oh, huh. I just learned something in 3H. Petra's A-rank has a time limit. I just unlocked it and got the "you missed the opportunity" message. I'm guessing it was just this past chapter too. I wasn't really stressing about most of these since I collected them all on my CF run but it feels endgamey so I figured I'd just start dumping all the gifts I have to bring the stragglers up to A rank and welp.

did anyone watch any XFL games this past weekend?

I watched the first half of the St. Louis BattleHawks game just because they're the semi-local (2 hours away from me) team and I'm trying to determine if I actually want to attempt to go to one of their games. The play was honestly kinda rough, but I expect there's probably some rust since there was no preseason. There were a couple times where the refs didn't seem to know what to do in a given situation either. I hope the quality of play gets better as the season goes along. I do like some of the rule changes though, as well as the fact that they actually let you into the replay booth.

I had a game on in the background but didn't pay much attention to it. I just remember laughing at the fact that they're so all-in on sports betting they had the spread and O/U listed with the score. (I think all the unders came through which I thought made sense given the rust issue you mentioned)

I think 1 over hit, and the BattleHawks were the only underdog to win, let alone cover, so I imagine sports books racked up on what little XFL betting there was!

This must have been the game I saw then (like heck I can remember these teams) since I remember the underdog won 15-9. I mostly paid attention to the last drive or two though I had the game on much longer. I remember the commentators talking about the time remaining in a way that I thought for a little that the XFL had some kind of automatic "if the time is such that you can kneel down and win you just auto-win and don't have to go through the formality of running those plays" rule so I was riveted to see if this was the case.
