If being racist was ILLEGAL, such as no spouting hate or threats against another person of colour in public/online, would that be a problem for you?

for example you can't tell someone to get out of your country or we don't want you people here or using the racist words to describe someone or forming a hate group etc...could you live in a country where those things are banned?

let's see what the majority would vote...

For me personally? Nope.
Although telling someone to get out of a country isn't racially motivated in some cases so that's a bad example.

spouting hate or threats against another person of colour
Your definition of racism is wrong. It would be racist not to do this in many situations. Further, anyone can claim you're being racist, and thus commiting a crime, when you're really just being a jerk which isn't illegal.

Also not racist to do this is a lot too i.e. calling someone a piece of shit and saying you're gonna kick their ass.

It would be impossible for me to be racist.
I'm pale as milk and my big half-brother's dad is from Ecuador XP

Heh, until I was like 11 I thought it was possible to have children of different colour, even if both parents where white, it blew my mind when I found out my dad wasn't his dad XD

I guess I lived in my strange little bubble of comics and videogames lol

You can't predict whether it would be a problem for you or not, because when you start policing thought you don't really have any way of telling what is going to offend another person.

This is a problem with policing speech in general.

Enacting physical harm on someone is illegal.
Threatening someone is illegal because it might lead to enacting physical harm.
Inciting violence is illegal because it might cause someone else to enact physical harm.

Note that enacting physical harm and talking about potential physical harm are not the same action.

Isn't it enough to criminalize the one thing? Criminalizing the things that can lead up to that thing makes it so a crime is committed even if the the thing you wanted to punish never occurred. Plus if you criminalize provoking another person to take action then is that person blameless so long as someone else is guilty of incitement?

Next it's not only physical harm they police but emotional harm.
Is it a crime to say something mean to someone and it doesn't effect them?
Is it a crime to say something mean to someone and it did effect them?
Is it a crime to say something mean to someone which wouldn't normally effect them but on a bad day it did effect them?

Note that the action taken doesn't change.

When you add special treatment for designated races it gets even more confusing.
Would you argue with someone you disagree with?
Would you argue with someone of the same race you disagree with?
Would you argue with someone of a designated race you disagree with?
Can they accuse of racism just because?
Is this an accusation where you are automatically assumed to be guilty?

It's enough that being identified as racist tends to get people publicly ostracized. It doesn't need to be a legal offense outside of instances where people are discriminated against for things like race, religion, ethnicity, etc, etc.

Everyone is a person of colour so no it wouldnt bother me in the least.

Also as soon as "race baiters" get it through thier thick skulls that race is a social construct and has no basis in science then the world will be a better place.

No. In the US, if being racist were truly illegal, I'd be more concerned for the backlash from our so-called law authorities, and so many of them trying to disguise what they're actually angry about. There's a lot of racist-ass shit going on there, certainly.

If they're upset by an insult, that's on them. If they're upset by an insult and they're black, they've got a case to claim a hate crime.

It would absolutely be a problem for me, but for reasons you are going to jump to.

Freedom of speech is not a one way road. You can't claim you are for freedom of expression if you intend to stifle those whose opinions you disagree with.

If racists act on it and harm someone, then yeah those fuckers should be given a curb stomp of their own.
