This is the moment Gritty, the Philadelphia Flyer's Fuzzy orange mascot who stared down the 13 y/o kid who PATTED his HEAD just before he PUNCHED him as a photo of him and his dad was taken with the mascot as police are now investigating!!

Chris Greenwall, the boy's father and longtime season ticket holder of the Philadelphia Flyers wrote in a FB post that his son, Brandon was "punched and injured" by Gritty and the organization tried to bribe him to keep quiet

He told the Phillie Inquirer describing the November 19th incident that happened at the Wells Fargo Centre duringane event for season ticket holders

After this infamous photo was taken, Gritty stood up to walk away before RUNNING and PUNCHED him and walked away again. The pat on the head apparently agitated the man in the costume who went full beserk after the picture taking

The company that owns the Flyers said it looked into the incident but had no "video evidence" of their claim and did not find evidence of such interaction after interviewing Gritty, "Gritty's handlers" and others

They said they took his claim seriously and conducted an investigation but found nothing.

Now he isn't renewing his season tickets and his son had to see a chiropractor and was diagnosed with a back issue

He said "After this, i am ashamed of how the Flyers have treated a 23 year loyal season ticket holder and my 13 y/o son and forcing me new to renew my tickets next year Those who know us know that Flyers hockey is our favourite thing to do. We even won the Season Ticket Holder of the year award in 2013 and we were able to be int he team picture with the team"

Mr. Greenwall sought an apology and for the team to pay for medical bills associated with this but after numerous attempts to they were denied any of it and instead offered "perks" to keep them quiet.

The police is now undergoing an investigation.

Gritty has become one of the most popular NHL mascots since it's introduction in 2018 and was voted best mascot last year

Kid allegedly gets punched in the face, and needs the service of a chiropractor for back issues? Something about that just doesn't add up, and when something doesn't add up, it usually means someone's bad at math. So bad at math... that they must killed to death.

Doesn't make sense, I'm just not buying that you put someone in a costume that would punch a kid in the face.

I was just at a Flyers game on Tuesday. Gritty does weird things but there is also a camera filming him the whole time with 2-3 shadowers. I find the father's story highly suspect.
