Joined an Innocence farm on a whim. In 5 runs 4 dragons dropped. I got the last one. :D

I am up to 263 cards with Triple Triad. I am hoping to hit 270+ before the next achievement comes along, but we'll see.

The newest housing glam looks nice, and I want it for my cottage. However, the first and larger issue is the space and energy required for all those mats, even for a small wall. The second, minor, issue is how it dyes, because I like my purple roof I have now in addition to the wine red I have in a couple other parts; the new housing glam appears to have red in various parts including the roof.

Also, there's still the need to learn and clear the extreme ShB trials as well as the desire to do likewise for E5s despite my wonky schedule. A few accessories and possible belts could be nice while the current gear sets are relevant.

Well, it so happens I redid my 2-star macro for the current patch so bring me mats of any quality and I can make it HQ for you pretty quick. I had tested it out on Seth's tools today, and it works well; it's basically the 3-star macro with a few abilities cut out to reserve CP and prevent from finishing the craft before the quality is even started. xD

Someday I'll finish my CP overmelds on my current tools, unless the crafter relics turn out being just as good with cp on them and everything. That 12 cp extra per crafter would be nice, though at this point some extra control wouldn't hurt. Whichever I need to make the 5.3 set, I guess. *shrugs*

There's a mount for 500,000 seasonal points in ishgard. I have no idea how to get that much. I'm pretty sure seasons last 10 days.

Just wait for the 5.3 gear when we'll be tested to some degree... for as long as it takes for someone to make an efficient macro.

should only need to slightly modify macros to make them work with new gear assuming no new actions, 5.2 was just a huge exception cuz of the rebalance... and even then, it took maybe two days for a wide range of macros to pop up

if you're modestly melded in 5.2, it should be a no brainer to macro craft 5.3 gear. crafter actions are just overpowered right now

I got my giraffe mount on my second scratcher. I'm now saving scrips for the sheep. I'm totally going to need to make more cunning syrups for myself, and I'll also need to consider getting those remaining cp melds done to alleviate a little of the stress that comes with those expert level Skybuilder crafts.

Yeah got my giraffe yesterday, still need like 1.9k scrip for the floofer. Last night I made 150 white ash lumber, so today I'm gonna get the diadem mats to make 150 grade 2 gazebos lol I think the mats alone will get me the scrip lol

I also got the Paissa Patissier minion, and the /bread emote from scratch tickets. lol

Also, I kinda like that 5.2 has a REALLY big emphasis on gathering. Kind of a nice change of pace. Gathering beast tribe. Ocean fishing. gathering and fishing tweaks. Diadem. Also the achievement requirements for ishgard resto are insane lol.

I'm almost glad to have more or less quit my achievement game--says the girl with 16k+ points--as of Pagos, because I'm just going to grab what I need or want and then continue with my life. I don't need to grind something stupid or insane like that.

I do, however, need to stockpile materia, finish getting things from a few areas via Shared FATEs and gemstones, and maybe do some more BLU so I can get that one quest marker off a map I rarely go to. Also, Ex Primals for mounts eventually. <_<

If it wasn't for needing to go to work to fill in for someone, I'd probably have more of my Diadem and Ishgard needs met by now. Speaking of which, now might be a good time to stock up on Cunning Syrups to help with those Expert crafts, which are as fun as overmelding the last slot on every tool or accessory in one sitting.

Finally cleared 6s! Took so long because mostly I just wasn't doing it because pugs.

Also my parse is fucking garbage. My stupid fucking spineshatter landed me in an instakill zone because why tf not.

Also this random healer nobody in the party knew took EVERYTHING.

it's actually a strategy to just eat an explosion during spark strike while everyone sits mid and dpses, but it's absolutely unnecessary imo

that mechanic was intimidating as hell at first but i don't think I've messed it up once since we started seeing conflag strike

My BLU group cleared t9 last night, so next week I'm taking them into t13.
Got all my diadem gathering done yesterday, so today I'm gonna start crafting all these gazebos. But, all of that gathering actually got me more than enough scrip to get everything I wanted lol so I guess I'm gonna buy some of the glams next.

I need to get back to crafting but I over leveled and all my jobs are like 4-5 quests behind lol. Its daunting.

Going to start GNB this week. Last role I need so all the Norvrandt quests are completed.

It's kind of odd in a sense of "Hey, now that everyone is home and able to play, we're suspending auto-demolition of your in-game houses." On the other hand, it's still an appropriate action that I am sure had to go through the corporate channels in SE, hence being why it took a week or two to be decided upon and implemented.

This topic's slowed down a bit, hasn't it? Some of us are playing AC, and some of us have been busy with other things; all while we wait for something else to come out in FFXIV. Like the new relics. I'm at least going to have to get the first stage done for all of them so I can take my many jobs into wherever when I feel like it. =p

Hopefully SE learned from Eureka, and these relics will start out higher than craftable or primal weapons. <_<

the mechanic we're stumped on is one of the two that's considered the hardest so that's cool at least

it is way more fast paced of a mechanic than you'd think and we often end up not in the right spot because things happen one after the other

This gunbreaker killed all the dps right at the end of 6s. like.... dude... at least we cleared. but he ran off with the glaze. -_-

Someone in the achievement hunter linkshell was asking around for help to get a clear for O12s for a friend. I mentioned that I needed to learn the fight as well. The next thing I knew, I was in a full party learning it unsynced. Now I have the Omega mount, a semi-decent glam weapon for my Gunbreaker, and 4/5 on the next clear achievement.

I still need to beat God Kefka for the sake of beating him (and maybe get the mount for collection reasons).

This puts me at 111 mounts and counting.

Better; we beat it once after and thrice before the third Patch, so we only saw Hello World once per run.

At some point, we can probably bring some fc folks into O12s who want their mounts. I do need six more clears for my achievements, and the two phases aren't terribly difficult once you get a hang of the mechanics we do still see. Like, it's seriously easier than O4s at this point.

I still need clears of O8s too, as mentioned before, but that can wait a wee bit.
