Hey man I told you that you only need it done once every few years. This is your 4th time in less than a year!

Dude, your doctor did you dirty writing for Gavilyte (could be a different brand, but it's the gigantic bottle one). There are so many different types of prep now that involve drinking less than a 10th of that amount of liquid.

It's called Laxabon, 4 bags of powder that you mix with water. (1 litre per bag). I'm soon done with the 2 litres for today, it's so disgusting.

My brother has Ulcerative Colitis and has to get a colonoscopy yearly (now that it's in remission, at least). He is an insurance executive and this year his company (and provider) moved to not paying for sedation for colonoscopy. He ended up paying several hundred dollars to get sedated for obvious reasons, and got in trouble for sending that part of his company an angry email about them expecting people to be awake to "feel the penetration of a giant camera tube in their asshole".

Yeah, that's a brand of PEG prep. Did you piss on your doctor's shoes or something?

You can drink a $1 10oz bottle of Magnesium citrate and have the same outcome as a gallon of that prep.

They let me mix yellow Gatorade powder into the stuff they gave me. Didn't help at all, it just made it taste like I was guzzling citrus jizz instead.

It was a military doctor that wrote me the prescription so I'm not surprised if it was the worst option.

My appointment is at 2pm tomorrow. (it's 5:45pm now). I could've eaten light stuff before 12pm today but I woke up after that. So I haven't had anything real to eat since around 9pm last night. And nothing else fun and neccesary for me a for a week.

Probably just based on having an afternoon and then not being sure when you won't be woozy from anaesthesia anymore.

I'm under investigation for stomach problems (I've had them for years but never pursued it until now).

Mang, just woke up. Breakfast is bouillon, juice and Laxabon.

It was easy, took no pain meds or sedative. It was a bit of discomfort at start but Ive felt worse with stomach pains.

My colon looks healthy at least. Which is good. Just annoying since I wanna know why my stomach is so fucked at times.

colon cancer is a possibility but it can be found early to treat it. it has better odd's of success. though for the TC's problem hopefully they find out the root cause of his problems in the digestive system.

From what I've seen over the past year of dealing with my own stomach problems, it seems like a fairly common thing now that lots of people in their 20s and 30s have recurring random stomach problems and indigestion.

I went through a similar situation, had an endoscopy performed, and an abdominal ultrasound. Both were clean. Blood work is clean.
I had two friends my age with the same problems, and similar procedures. Colonoscopies, CT scans, etc...

I'm starting to think it's just a matter of modern stressful lifestyle :\ Like, when you first start getting the symptoms and feel shitty, it's hard to believe that you could feel that way just because life is stressful, but after you keep getting clean bills of health, it becomes more and more realistic lol.
