First of all, I wanna make this clear. I understand why most games stopped having this as a feature, and I realize that it's a good thing. I'm glad that it's pulled in a lot more female gamers that felt like they had no representation, and I've been able to make some friends along the way that I wouldn't have otherwise.

That said, I made a topic asking for some exceptions that I can find for the PC, and I feel like a lot of people are acting like I'm a pariah for wanting to play something short (1-10 hours) that's an exception to this rule.

I would really appreciate it if I could get some clarity on this.

It fine for some games. And Japan does it all the time, I think. Most people think its dumb because you give a female something with less coverage than a bikini, but has the most defense somehow... Magic, I guess... You just gotta look in the right places. But asking about that may make you look like a perv. Which is probably why people are treating you that way...

I'm also a perv, and that's why play 100% of my games on PC now. Why play a Senran Kagura game censored on some console, when we can play it uncensored on PC with nude mods? ;)

I only care about playing DOA 6 with good costumes but I have to pay for them regardless of where I play the game on :/

It depends on the game and its setting and tone.

A lot of the time it feels ridiculous. Especially if the character is meant to be taken seriously.

Sylvanas is like the most important character in Warcraft lore and she looks fucking absurd.

Yeah, like the 90s is the greatest decade in gaming and about 99% of it was made for them.

I get what you're saying. Despite having quite a few friends who like being around me a lot, I do have a problem trying to seek attention, and I do it in really bad ways sometimes. That said this was more a desire for clarity than a desire for attention.

I also have realized that it wasn't worth it because this is gamefaqs, and I'm gonna attract pariahs by making this topic. I apologize.

I don't think you do though. You've made basically the same topic twice about something that folk don't care if you like or not but are acting like it's some kind of big deal by pointing it out often. It's baffling really. There is absolutely nothing wrong with finding people attractive. It being video games really makes no difference as they still are representing what you find attractive. Hell it works the other way too as I find some cosplay gals to be very attractive.

Given that most women like to look attractive, there are certainly times when it makes sense. The real issue is when it interferes with practicality. However, while people bitch about Red Sonia not being well-armored, they ignore that guys like Conan the Barbarian were also going into battle either unequipped or half-naked and not attracting the same kind of scrutiny.

Besides, people don't often enjoy playing games where everything is hyper realistic and loaded with practicality.

Young ladies like their pretty boys with 14 pack abs, perfect hairlines, and 7'9".

Young men want that delicious booty, tasteful sideboob, and doesn't nag you.

Its just not talked about that much. But it has been mentioned before. Like when talking to friend and stuff, weve also mentioned the guys that wear nothing. It came up a few times when we were talking about Fallout 4... So, it may be talked about more during chats with friends than on social media.

That being said, it could also be because Ive seen more guys dress up the guy characters in cool close, rather than the skimpy options they have. Which could be because theyre straight and have some sort of problem seeing a guy without a shirt on, or because they like the cool clothes... or whatever...
