Arizona can rock. Up north you still get 4 seasons, Phoenix is a huge city that is hot and down south has a lot of great diversity. I personally love it down south more cause I get tired of the overly crowded city.

Honolulu

True, but there are many homeless people wandering the streets. The city itself is very crowded and there are parts of it where you will want to watch your step. In short, I would not recommend it for a vacation.

I've only been on the one: O'ahu, see. In other words, I am unable to answer that question.

I think Honolulu is warm year round

Yea, would like to visit there one day (actually dated a Polynesian chick from there) but it's a bit too far away and I heard it was rather expensive...

Eh, cool but my son (he's in the Military now) is stationed there...don't wanna invade his turf, xD. But maybe I'll check it out. I might try Vegas again (wasnt too crazy about it the 1st time I went there tho)

San Diego County is pretty nice. If you don't like the scenery or weather where you're at, just move to a slightly different area. You have beaches, city, suburbs, farms, mountains, deserts, you name it. Weather tends to be more moderate the closer you get to the beach; it never gets very hot or very cold there.
