i want to say that the reverence for Fallout NV would carry it through but I think 4 and 76 have hurt the franchise's reputation on top of that fanbase not necessarily hanging out here anymore

The only thing I would be certain of here is that KHIII wouldnt win. Beyond that I have no clue

Xenoblade > Mario feels pretty clear cut. If there's a Wii U game that could endure, I think it's 3D World (now that Smash U is antiquated... actually wonder if it'd fall in strength significantly due to no one caring anymore). But Xenoblade showed a modicum of strength, and I don't feel that Fallout or Kingdom Hearts' reputations can really endure even slight strength. After that it's "game people care about vs fun Mario game", and despite general good feelings toward 3D World, I can't see it as THAT much stronger than Mario Maker.

The other three games dont match this result. You'd have to bank on Fallout 76 tanking the other games in the series, which is possible.

Also I'm shocked at the support 3D World is getting. Basically no one played that game and it bombed in GotY polls. Reminds me of when people took Super Mario Sunshine over Halo 3

it means nothing, but I cant get over how 3d world matched Galaxy 2 twice in the favorite 3d Mario polls.

I think all all of these games have room to bomb except for Xenoblade, which is probably stronger than ever. Id take the latter pair over the former for sure.

Eh, Galaxy 2 gets held back quite a bit by Galaxy 1 being there. 3D World is probably the most independent game of the bunch there, along with Sunshine (which also performs better in those polls than its actual contest strength).

I went with New Vegas > 3D World. I'm struggling to see what in KH3 has in this fourpack, though I guess Xenoblade is the same way unless 76 (and Bethesda in general of late) has had disastrous effects on the Fallout franchise's strength.

Xenoblade > KH3 feels right here. Super Mario 3D World by all rights should absolutely bomb as a Wii U exclusive, even if KH3 wasn't as well received as it could have been it's just gonna have more fans here, period.

I could be underestimating New Vegas and it could easily win here.

This is a great fourpack, well done.

The only thing I feel confident about is KH3 being the weakest. 3D World may have disappointed at GOTY but it also got heavily SFFd, so I wouldnt worry too much about that. I think New Vegas squeaks past it and Xenoblade. Fallout is definitely a top 10 series on GameFAQs and though it has declined thanks to Bethesdas recent shenanigans, New Vegas would be the most impervious to that.

I voted Xenoblade > KH, but in fairness Xenoblade is indirectly worth ~35% on SOTN vs. 43% on RE4 for New Vegas based on BGE3. My gut pick was still Xenoblade over Fallout due to Xenoblade having gotten further exposure since then plus the Nintendo factor. I completely forgot about the Fallout name going bust, but that doesn't exactly help New Vegas.

I wouldn't have much confidence in a Wii U exclusive Mario game. As the original GOTD taught us, just attaching the Mario name to something is only worth so much.

No 3D Land is a different game if thats what you mean. Very different also, Nintendo ballsed up the marketing for 3D World. But at least it outsold Sunshine in the end!

Xenoblade Chronicles X
Splatoon
...Pikmin 3?

This is not counting SSB4 due to the 3DS version. I think 3D World wins that easily. Though there are heavy rumours of a Switch port.

no, I just got confused and put Xenoblade on the Wii U instead of the Wii. the Wii U is really bad, like original Xbox levels of bad. it might even be worse which is astounding considering this site. Mario Maker could be the best exclusive on the system.
