My first instinct was GTAV over RE2.

I couldn't figure out who to put in that 4th slot to balance things out. I almost put Devil May Cry 5, but I felt like no one would choose that to win either.

I feel like these games are in three distinct tiers (RE2 > Portal 2/GTAV > Dragon Age), so I wouldn't take any of these matches as laid out to be particularly close.

I agree with Portal 2/GTAV > Dragon Age, but Resident Evil 2 is the toughest to pick out of that.

GTAV did barely worse against Mario RPG than RE4 did, would be quite a fall for it to lose to RE2make.

Something like 3-5 percentage points. Frankly, it would be more implausible if Mario RPG hadn't built up any sort of bandwagon after defeating two games with massive casual respect, then knocking off a game that had also beaten two such games by its largest margin yet.
