I can see the peach fuzz on a girl's face. I can see the nose hairs of a dude's nostrils.

What a time to be alive

What are you watching? I don't notice this level of detail. In fact, I feel like HDR makes things worse at this point. The screen just gets darker and shaded differently when the HDR activates on my tv. I'm constantly messing with the settings because it seems like something must be off, but I can never get it looking good.

TV already has that 4th D covered. Otherwise, it would be a photograph.

i hate watching shows in 4k almost as much as movies.

takes you out of the story; you feel like a person on set watching the filming take place.

Seeing all the cameras off the reflection in their eyes is distracting.

What TV do you have? Some of the TVs that are low-midrange that do have HDR don't actually look good with it on.

The mid-higher end TVs look awesome with it on though. Any OLED, QLED Q80 and above and Sony's 950G and above.

I thought everyone turned HDR off. I could certainly do without it.

Oh man turning my head is exactly my problem with it! I got a TV that's too large for my room, so even though I sit up against the wall I still end up turning my head. If the TV was a good 10 to 15 inches smaller it would have been better. But unfortunately it's just too large for the size of the room.
