Also, while Noctis looked terrible in 2018, so did the whole KH crew; Sora was of course much stronger, but he has genuinely well-liked (and pre-2010s) games to draw from, whereas Noctis is a one-game character. However, I don't like Super Meat Boy v Borderlands 2, because there's no possible way the former would prevail over a game capable of breaking 40% on EarthBound - unless Borderlands 3 has somehow crippled the brand, I guess, and even then. Also, Witcher 3 and especially Skyrim are substantially ahead of the ME2/P5/RE2 trio. Some other matches/set-ups I'd personally like to see: Portal 2 v Arkham City (which is the second strongest 2011 game?) Tomb Raider v Mortal Kombat (a nice, even-looking match between successful reboots of 90s series) Bayonetta 2 v God of War III (another even-looking match between similar games, in this case character actioners) Final Fantasy XV v Dragon Quest XI (will the bigger series or the more well-liked game prevail? FF15 v KH3 would also be good, albeit a bit implausible by seeding merits, and I want to see DQ11 score a cool upset) Grand Theft Auto V v Pokmon Black/White 2 (the first 16 > 1 upset since StarCraft in the making?) It was the best selling game of the year for the first half of the year, and it's got a highly anticipated DLC campaign coming out very soon. I don't ever bother to rate games here after I play them. But KH3 has one advantage that FFXV doesn't, and that's that the game will actually be completed.
