I think they moved the Nintendo section of Universal Florida to Epic Universe as a way to promote it when it opens, although the rumors are constantly changing as to where it will be. At one point there was a rumor that Nintendo will be spread amongst all three parks like Harry Potter so that people visiting just for Nintendo will be forced to pay for the three park pass.

Honestly nobody has any idea what the hell Nintendo World is gonna be at this point but almost all the leaks show it will be almost entirely Mario themed with MAYBE some Zelda and a Pokemon Center. This video kinda confirms that by going so heavy on the Mario. You'd think they'd at least try including Kirby or a Star Fox ride or something.

It's a theme park, although they didn't really show much of it aside from the Mario Kart ride. The segment with the Yoshis is probably based on the Yoshi ride. We know there's a Donkey Kong ride being built for one of the US locations, but I'm guessing they didn't include it since this video is for the Japanese park.

Don't know what's up with those wristbands though. I get the feeling there's going to be a AR game experience in the park? Or some kind of tie-in? There's still no opening date set yet even though it's supposed to be open in time for the Olympics. My guess is it's delayed and they're going to use the AR game as a way to compensate, but who knows...

Universal Japan has a lot more interactivity with their attractions like how their Resident Evil attraction during Halloween Horror Nights actually has lightguns

It might also be a takeoff on Disney's Magic Band+ thing, maybe a soft test before expanding it?

I know there's concept art of Epic Universe floating around and some people claim to see a DK ride in it (I don't) but I honestly can't imagine a Nintendo park WITHOUT a DK minecart coaster. I didn't even hear there was a Yoshi ride but I think Mario Kart has always been a thing and that's another one I can't imagine them not doing.
