I haven't seen Jurassic World 2 but of the 4, I'd say Park 2 is the worst

Yes World and 3 are stupid and have no point or message but they embrace their own stupidity and just have fun with dinosaurs and nonsense

2 is just boring.

Its also dumb and pointless but takes itself seriously

The first JP is without a doubt one of the biggest movies ever. On par with king kong and the original Godzilla. I ignore everything after, 2 sucked, 3 was the worst, world was ho-hum, never saw the second world but from what I saw of the indoraptor I'm glad I didn't. He's literally getting shot with a tranq, pretending he fell asleep to lure a guy in his cage. It was pretty fucking horrible.

Jurassic World 2 is legit almost unwatchable. At least World 1 and Park 3 are dumb, goofy fun. World 2 is legit a dumpster fire.

JP 3 by a mile, noting that this is someone who never bothered to watch World 2.

Im also one of the few who enjoyed The Lost World, even more so than World 1, so id put it at 2nd best for me.

I didn't think Lost World was nearly as bad as a lot of people say.

Jp1 was a 10/10. I feel like Lost World was a 6. Still had some cool moments (trex, raptors in the corn field). There was also a lot of garbage yes but at least there were some genuinely tense moments.

Jp3 was just garbage though. Have no idea how some people rate it higher than 2. But to each their own.

The world movies are just dumb popcorn flicks. I don't even bother rating them in my own mind. I get a little enjoyment out of them and then immediately forget them, for better or worse.

3 wasnt much better but I did enjoy some parts.

JP1 is easily the best of the series. It holds up really well too.

When we bought our current house it was the first movie I booted up in the theater room. Watching the Trex and raptors on a 120" screen with amazing surround sound was probably the coolest movie experience I had since watching it in theaters in 93.

World 2 and 2.
that plesiosaurus scene at the start adds nothing in world 2. at least the first one is memorable for being unnecessarily brutal.

The Lost World is an uneven film. For the life of me, I can't understand how some people think the third film is better. It's like people who say Robocop 3 is better than Robocop 2.

The big problem is simply that it was uninspired. Steven Spielberg had moved on from dinosaurs and tried to generate self-interest with his go to wish-fulfillment subplot about the absent father apologizing for walking out on his family. It worked well for the third Indiana Jones movie after a divisive sequel. Here, it became part of why Lost World is a divisive sequel.

They also had issues in that they couldn't make up their minds whether dinosaurs were unstoppable killing machines or helpless animals that needed to be protected from evil hunters. A couple of tranquilizers will put a tyrannosaurus down, an elephant gun will presumably kill it, but an an entire police force can't stop it.

And the tyrannosaurus -- I hate to say this -- got too much screen time. It's more awe inspiring when it's used sparingly. All of the other dinosaurs were just cameos. The film could've been called Tyrannosaurus: Jurassic Park II.

JP2 and JW2 are both pretty terrible.

JP2 is outright boring for the majority of the movie though so I'll say that one us the worst. JW2 plays out like a rejected Predator script which is sadly better.

In 3 when the two of them clashed, do you remember the bite the Rex landed first? That would have punctured the major arteries, and crushed the neck vertebrae.

Jurassic Park 3 is really the only option here.

The Lost World keeps some of the charm from the original, despite not quite keeping up the same quality. Decent, but nothing special.

Jurassic World followed the spirit of the book being basically a B-list horror movie that belongs on the syfy channel, but was big budget and could be a lot of fun if you aren't expecting big things from it.

Fallen Kingdom had a lot of problems, but had some good ideas that just weren't really executed well. It also feels the same way of "campy over the top jargon" as the book and JW1.

JP3 was just awful.

I thought Lost World was pretty decent but the first one still takes the cake.

Reading some of the replies, I can kinda see how one might prefer the third film in a "stupid fun versus boring movie" kind of way.

If you don't care about the outcome of the fight, if you don't care that Ellie and Alan broke up when they'd previously agreed to have children together, if you're not taken back by talking raptors in dreams or hostage negotiating raptors in reality, then you might enjoy the third movie better than the second movie.

For me, there's just too to forgive.
(And I haven't forgotten about Barney the Dinosaur's cameo either.)

It's still funny to me that JP3 doesn't have an ending but just kinda stops after a while. It's like the film had enough and just wanted to be over with.
