Thanks. I was actually practicing him yesterday all day with my friends for a squad strike tournament this Friday. Surprisingly I did pretty well against my friend who has a really good Samus and isabelle was also coming along nicely. I'm confident in my Inkling/Isabelle/Fox lineup for friday. Fox definitely plays better offline imo.

I meant to say this earlier, but last weekend was my last weekend with family so I prioritized doing stuff with them. I am also not going to do the tournament this weekend because Byleth will literally be here in 6 days, so I think I wanna hold off until next weekend so anyone who wants to use Byleth in the tournament can do so. That way, the tournament will be a tournament representing every fighter in Smash from launch to the end of fighter pack 1.

Don't forget, El_Mexicano has been so kind to offer a cash prize to the winner as an incentive to join. Can't wait to get it going, the date is set in stone, January 31st and onwards. Last year, it took a while to get it done so don't be worried if you can't make it that day, you will probably be able to make it up on the 1st. If the tournament still needs more matches to complete, we will hold off on the 2nd because I'm sure many would want to watch the Superbowl.

I will make a topic soon.

I don't think his puff was as good as yours. I did get a nice spike on him last match against Puff.

@AceAttorneyist I can't even touch your Puff unless I'm using my main (former roommate mained Jigglypuff so I have a lot of experience in the Zelda/Puff matchup, plus I think Zelda wins that matchup anyways)

Is double jab d tilt the correct set up for that kill confirm? I imagine the second jab has more hitstun

Probably not, you can act out of jab 1 earlier afterall

I love how the balloons extend the hitbox of the stomp so the hitbox outlasts your invincibility

You've gotten so much better at the Isabelle MU. I think a big reason is just being more agressive and shielding a lot more. Sadly for Isa she doesn't really have an answer to shield, her grab is pathetically slow at 14 frames and she can't really pressure your shield at all.

Also she's really bad at the ledge, I got dair'd and killed at low percentages.

At higher % it gives enough hitstun to lead to dtilt or dsmash.

Hannibal I'm not even sure what Isabelle's game plan should be against Falcon, it just seems like he completely destroys her. Your best bet in neutral is probably spacing slingshot and hope I screw up an approach so you can get either a grab or up tilt, or f tilt/f smash/jab into d tilt at high percents. I think Falcon is much better at both camping and approaching than Isabelle, so I think your best bet is to just out space me with slingshot somehow

Also I keep invalidating the mine with raptor boost, try not to stand so close to it since it's a free raptor boost if you do

I am super excited for Byleth. I've been playing FE a lot, and while I think many other characters could have filled the slot better in the game, it will be cool to play with all those weapons.

Im pretty excited to play Byleth. I know some people are already calling the character trash or low tier but tiers never mattered to me anyways lol. If I find the character fun to play, Ill use them.

Eh, not really. The only FE characters I like are Roy and Ike. But I know a friend who is excited because he wanted a waifu dlc character lmao

Those were awesome matches man! I dont understand the lag tbh. When Im downloading things itll be 120 mb a sec, occasionally or at very lowest drop to 50 mb/s, but I feel like those lag spikes are on my side. My phone drops calls often as well using the wifi
