It was before Jessica Jones became Jessica Jones, kind of like a demo reel for her.

There are so many good shows and movies and music and games out there, it makes me irrationally sad that I won't get to see them all.

The only thing I remember about it is there was an episode where she started dating a rich guy and didn't realize he was mentally handicapped because she was too obsessed with the money

It had its moments, but IMO missed the mark. Tone was off
It was a weird show, but that's what makes it good, there wasn't anything like it. They had dawson's creek playing a fictionalized version of himself, but as a supporting cast member.

Yeah I really liked it.

Another good, weird and far too shortlived show is Great News.

Meh that's just Krysten Ritter being herself basically just like Ryan Reynolds always plays a version of himself nowadays. She just has good acting timing.

But that worked for Deadpool, he was perfect in it. And I liked the sequel too.

It was okay. I only watched it because I'm sexually attracted to Krysten Ritter though, if I'm being honest.

Ahh yes, I remember that film. Based on the fast food prank phone call controversy, right? She spent half the film naked following instructions from a guy on the phone pretending to be a police officer. Funnily enough, I never made the connection that she was the same actress from this show.

But I loved this show. People are right in that the premise and overall plotline was bizarre, but it worked for it. It didn't follow your typical sitcom beats. And Dawson's Creek guy was hilarious. By far my favorite "actor playing as himself" trope in any TV show.

It, like a ton of ABC shows, seem to get canceled way before their time. Better Off Ted was another such show. And so many more, too numerous to list right now.
