It will calm down or shrink their fandom?
Inagine being as famous as George Lucas and you just want to shop groceries in peace. Maybe a crazy idea entered the mind. "What if I make a new entry so bad, people won't care about me anymore!" I would argue that the prequels put Lucas even more in the spotlight tbh.

Like, I kinda wanna write a cool story but idk if I want to be famous if it takes off. Kinda a big burden.
