Dude on my facebook had a good point, if you are signing something and have to date it, don't do 3/3/20 do 3/3/2020 instead so the document can not be altered to a later date.

You shouldve been doing this for 19 already too since anything could be forged to be 20+ years older than it really was, like [20]19 > 1999 or whatever. Not super likely to be a problem at all really but you never know if itll come back to haunt you in 30 years or something...

you could easily contest a document by pointing out that not only do you yourself not write out the full year when you date your signatures, but that it really isnt a normal thing for anyone to do

A lot of legal documents require an eight digit date (mm/dd/yyyy) to be submitted without rejection, as even though its almost certainly obvious what the intended date is it wouldnt be processed without it.
