After the first time, I thought it was probably the best metroidvania I'd ever played. Now that I've given it a second playthrough, I can upgrade that probably to a definitely. I will never understand how a three person team could make a game like this. I still have some of the DLC left, which I'll be playing for the first time. Beat a game that's been adapted into another medium Robotics;Notes Elite (Although I think it's one of those that people would rather pretend doesn't exist) There were some issues with the PC port, and there was one character who seemed determined to ruin every scene with her "comic relief," but I enjoyed it overall. Not as much as Steins;Gate, certainly, but more than the Chaos games. I'm looking for someone else who might be interested in handling the video game challenge in the future. I've made the topics for four years now and, like tazzy the original creator before me, I'd like to step aside. It isn't a whole lot of work. Now that the purge rate has increased and removed the need for constant bumping all it really takes is making a new spreadsheet at the start of the year and posting the topic. I came in expecting to build and present a case, but the presenting part was pretty much handled automatically, just listing the evidence you've collected and almost nothing else. It's technically called a challenge, but really the only thing challenging about it was having the patience to grind due to wanting Priscilla to have S rank Anima instead of Staves and grinding everyone to 20 on Cog of Destiny just so I didn't have to stall out in the end game at all. Beat a game released between 2000-2009 4. Beat a game released between 2010-2019 5. Beat a game released in 2020 Of course, challenge 5 will become "Beat a game released in 2021". But we have to decide what to do with 2020. My initial thought was to change challenge 1 to "Beat a game released before 2000", and move everything up, which would result in challenge 4 being... "Beat a game released in 2020" again. This of course limits options as two challenges would be for a specific year. The other options are to include 2020 in challenge 4, or add another challenge for the 2020s, bring the total to 51, or removing another challenge elsewhere. Thoughts? Finish a game in one day A Light in the Dark Decent little VN with an interesting premise, but there wasn't really a whole lot to it. 37. Beat a game you'd dropped or had a long hold on Dicey Dungeons Dropped it because I sucked at playing the Witch. I still suck at playing the Witch, but I managed to get through her bonus round with enough luck.
