I need something I can take on the road with me that is still capable of playing a variety of games. I bought a new laptop about a year ago but somehow I was so caught up in the other impressive specs that I failed to notice it only had integrated graphics. Which means while it has the processing power to run a dozen bits of software simultaneously without a hiccup, it can barely even launch games like FTL or Terraria.

I'm not looking for something to replace my gaming desktop--just something that offers me the ability to play my lower-strain indie games when away from home for a bit. Right now the Aspire 5 is my top candidate:

but it's also right at the top of the budget I really feel comfortable dropping on a secondary gaming device. Anyone have any suggestions that match or exceed its specs at a lower cost? Maybe trade more graphical power for less storage space?
