They were a young couple who broke up at the coffee chain in 1992 after saying they didn't see a future together but reconnected in 2018 and now got married a year later at 1pm on friday at the same coffee joint with family and friends and customers who witnessed their nuptuals Roy said "It had to happen here" who works at Worcester Parks Department Valerie said "We think it's an absolute riot. Has anybody been married in Dunkin Donut before? Maybe we'll start a trend".. They met a house party thrown by one of Val's friends and fell in love..but several months while they enjoyed a young romance, Valerie asked Jason to meet at DD. It was days before her 21st birthday and he bought her a french vanilla coffee to talk about their future..he was joining the Navy and that's when she dropped the bomb to end it. She said "I was flattered and overwhelmed by his committment but equally felt he was placing a burden on himself in taking care of me. I said the wrong things.Why are you putting so much pressure on yourself? I kind of crushed him. I felt awful. He said, let's elope" But 25 years later while both were still single, they reconnected even though Jason got married at some point and had 3 KIDS and Valerie also married who moved to florida but didn't have kids. She was performing a Valentine's themed musical and he went there to sit in the front row to watch as Valerie was a deer in headlights seeing him again. She moved backto Massachusetts and Roy proposed on new years. She is now Valerie Roy and coudln't be happier.
