I don't mean to bash your hobby, but what makes you into Slot cars? I would assume mini RCs would be more fun as you race them in a more involved manner than just pulling a trigger to make it go or slow down.

Am I missing something?

I understand slot cars more than trains. And theyre better when you build an actual environment around them. Id have an HO scale slot car set if I had the extra time.

I just don't see the appeal. I mean you literally only control the cars speed. Why not RC minis where you actually have to turn and plan out racing lines? Whats crazy is in Europe theres slot racing clubs that even have 24 hour Le mans races! And they often bash NASCAR for only doing left turns!. Well they are only pressing the accelerator!

Nope, only into real full sized cars.

Just watched a video of TEAMS racing a 24 hour race in respect to Le Mans. I don't understand the appeal. I just can't fathom it. Why not Mini RCs? atleast then you have to do more than speed up or speed down.

Those bashing Nascar for their left turns are probably a much larger group than the slot car enthusiasts.

I was mostly going for the fact it was based in Europe and the Slot car people are most likely in the demographic of the people who bash left turns in NASCAR
