She was in Morningside Park near her school at 7pm where she stood outside waiting for a drug dealer just before she was stabbed by a group of teens in a botched robbery attempt NYPD said they are looking for an angle after the report from a friend came in as neighbors said the teen charged with t he murder was known to hang out there to smoke a joint with his friends Workers at a nearby deli said the suspects were some of the same youths who chased another girl into the business 5 days earlier One of the workers told Dailymail "We know these kids from a school close by. We feel so bad for the girl, she is so young" The young girl who was chased in siad she was kicked to the floor and took a pic of the boy and called police but they did nothing The 13 y/o has been charged with her death as 2 others are also wanted in connection Majors battled in vain to fight off the robbers as she BIT one of them in the hand The 13 y/o charged said he just WATCHED and didn't kill ehr as one of his friends did in a botched mugging as a judge ordered him to be held without bail The name of the harlem boy is withheld as he will be tried in juvenile court The boy claims his 2 friends were the one who robbed her after failing to get another man. He said they put her in a chokehold and removed items from her pockets before she bit him and then stabbed her after initially dropping the knife. The U.S. is like 75% white, and I would say the majority of murders are shocking and if not random, inexplicable to the common person. As for age "young" is pretty broad.
