I cried when my engagement to my ex fell apart and my foster kid had to go live with her grandma. The fiance forced me to move out to the country so when we broke up I was essentially homeless when I moved back to the city. I had tears frozen to my face when I was out looking for a job.

Also, when my dad died earlier this year I cried before and during the funeral.

It's been a rough year and I'm glad it's almost over.

Last time I remember was when I was talking to a worker at the dialysis center when I was first diagnosed so that was like 3 years ago almost. I feel like I must have cried since then but dont recall.

My best friends brother got hit by a car. He called his mom at my house, told her and she started screaming. At this point I had no idea if his brother was gonna die, he didn't. But when he left, I started crying like a baby. It was just all too much for me. I probably cried for 20-30 minutes straight. That was like 2 years ago. I told him about it too.

Came close yesterday too but managed to just rub them away.

Night before last. Recently went long-distance with the girlfriend, and her visit was over.

Before then, last week at the vet. My cat developed epilepsy and I was afraid she was going to have permanent damage. I was so happy to see her healthy and happy that I teared up as soon as I saw her carrier come down the hall.

I stayed up for that. I didn't cry but I was in a state of shock. Then I woke up and was all "well, Im not gonna pay attention to politics again". Little did I know, that was pretty much impossible.

No, I really have just been having an awful couple of months.

I mean, I cry easily anyway but it's very rare for it to be for no obvious reason. It does happen, but my last time was probably 2015 or 2016.

I teared up when my dad called me at work saying they had to put the dog down a few months ago, but no full-on tears actually escaped the eye if that's what we're talking about.

I think the last time tears actually escaped my eyes was when an ex and I broke up like three years ago. I was actually glad we broke up (and still am) but she was basically frustratingly packing up her shit in tears, and I'm one of those people who tends to cry when other people start to cry, so it just kinda was a physical reaction. Mentally I was glad, we weren't a good fit.

Ah. I honestly am becoming worried about how little emotion I feel about being told terrible stuff about people I love. I know I care, but I feel nothing in the moment. Makes me feel inhuman and uncompassionate. However, it does make it easier to react to.

When I had to cut ties with an old college friend a year ago. He'd changed -gotten kind of abusive and was really starting to scare some of the people in our social circle with his rage- but good God, man; still felt like stabbing myself in the chest. I didn't cry that much putting my dog down.
