Theres a level 50 Steelix spawn in that same wild area. Bottom right just over the bridge.

  1. not enough badges to catch one
  2. prefer to raise Pokemon from lvl 1 with correct natures and EVs rather than just random wild beasties
  3. I know it makes no difference unless youre playing competitively or in a fleshed out post-game but always done it soooo
