One of the greatest systems of all time. The first game I extensively sit down and learned enough to where I was really good at it was Donkey Kong Country 2.

Bought it after the N64 for $60 at Toys R Us. Didn't have too many games, but got Super Metroid, Star Fox, Super Mario World, and Donkey Kong Country at least. Played a bunch of others though.

I bought one in college. My favorite memory was beating Donkey Kong Country the afternoon I took my last final for the semester. I also had an excellent time playing Goof Troop with my roommate lol, even if it took us a stupidly long time to figure out one of the last kick block puzzles.

SNES is the first system I have really clear memories of, though thinking about it retrospectively it was only my main system for about three years at most. We got the SNES after the Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World compilation became the pack-in game, which was in December 1994 (from what I can find out online). And my aunt got me an N64 with Diddy Kong Racing the christmas of the year that came out in 1997.
I only played some of the highest profile titles on SNES. The only games I have really clear memories of are SMW and DKC 1 and 2, actually. I mostly played the Super Game Boy lol --- But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. ... My older brother had an NES, but I was born in 1986 so the SNES was really my first forte into sitting down and playing games for real.
