A flat Earther would probably say that the Sun is close enough to the Earth that it creates timezones. Kind of like if you shine a flashlight at a wall. You have parts of the wall directly in the middle of the beam, bits of the wall on the edges, and the rest of the wall in the dark. While they reject logic to explain their stance, the main reason people have stances like that is because they believe the government controls everything. They say that NASA has fabricated their whole program, in conjunction with scientists and agencies all around the world... so that they can get funding. Like really? Wow. That's such an ANTI-science way to look at the world. It's not just unscientific, it's ANTI-scientific. Like you really distrust scientists. You distrust science. You don't believe in science.
